Director Jake Byrd’s short Bogy will be shown at San Diego’s Screen with Screams Horror Film Festival on Friday, March 30, 2018. Bogy tells the tale of a successful woman whose past comes back to haunt her.
In Bogy, we follow the story of Megan, a successful 20-something, who seems to have it all – a great job, a nice apartment in the city, and a caring best friend. But a darkness from her past still haunts her and when Marty, a seemingly harmless clown, shows up in her neighborhood, it opens the door to that past. Bogy the Clown terrorizes Megan, telling her, “When you entertain a clown, you become part of the circus.” Can she keep a foothold in reality as her life spirals out of control? Join us at Screams on Screen and see!
