D - LRE Poster 2Director Inés Sorlat’s short Lucy’s Raw Eyes will be shown at San Diego’s Screen with Screams Horror Film Festival on Friday, March 30, 2018. The provocative Lucy’s Raw Eyes was the Winner of the Jury Prize for the Best Short Film made for less than $5,000 at the 2018 Monkey Bread Tree Film Awards.

In “Lucy’s Raw Eyes,” we follow a young journalist named Lucy as she researches a story several decades after the prohibition of live stock production. During the prohibition, society has become accustomed to not eating meat, but now seems to be ready to embrace the very first restaurant serving an alternative solution to the meat embargo. The film stars Antonio Johnson as Thomas Willis and Sarah Bartholomew as Lucy Miller.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find a trailer for this film. You’ll just have to come to the Festival and watch it there! For more information about Lucy’s Raw Eyes visit the film’s Facebook page.

The Screen with Screams Horror Film Festival will be held at the Brick Bar located in San Diego’s Hillcrest area at 1475 University Ave, San Diego 92103 on March 30. For more information on the Festival or its venue, please visit the Festival website.

Tickets to the Festival (or to any of its individual Official Selections) are available through the internet ticket site.
