“Tales of Poe” will have its world premiere August 20, 2014, at the historic American Cinematheque at Grauman’s Egyptian Theatre (Los Angeles, CA). It is expected that many of the cast and crew will be in attendance, along with other luminaries from the horror genre. And, thanks to the generosity of friends, yours truly, your Dreaditor-in-Chief, will also attend. Watch this website for photos and notes from the exciting evening!

Mastro Piece Productions’ and Southpaw Pictures’ “Tales of Poe,” which has been described as “stylistically ambitious” by no less an authority than Fangoria magazine, is an anthology of three of Poe’s best known works. Director Alan Rowe Kelly wrote and directed “The Cask,” based on Poe’s “The Cask of Amontillado.” Bart Mastronardi wrote and directed “The Tell-Tale Heart” based on the eponymous Poe tale of obsession. Mastronardi also directed “Dreams,” a visual feast based on the “Poe-m” (see what I did there?) Of the same name from a script by Michael Varrati.

The cast includes such fan-favorites as Adrienne King, Amy Steel, Caroline Williams, Debbie Rochon, Lesleh Donaldson, Randy Jones, Desiree Gould, Brewster McCall, Alan Rowe Kelly, Bette Cassatt and Cartier Williams.

See you on the red carpet!
