Rob Zombie needs you – or, maybe he just needs your money. Don’t worry, though. It’s all for a good cause: Zombie is planning a new extreme horror film about killer clowns, and he’s looking to crowd fund it.

Director Rob Zombie has announced his next project: a killer clown film called “31.” The plot involves five people who have been kidnapped and held hostage in a place called Murder World, where they have 12 hours to survive a game called – you guessed it – 31. Their opponents are a group of outrageously violent killer clowns known as “the heads.
Zombie is seeking crowd funding for the new film, stating that he wants to get the fans involved at an early stage. Zombie explained that the fans have “always been the most important thing for me because, with metal and horror, the fans aren’t just fans – it’s their life, their lifestyle. They live and breathe it, as I do.”
You can visit fanbacked.com and help Zombie finance his film, described as “hardcore business for the blood-thirsty gore hounds” and get some sweet swag in the process. As Zombie says, “The world of horror needs you!” Update: Sorry, the link in this paragraph has expired.
